On April 2, 2026, World Autism Awareness Day, the Maresth Solidarity Foundation undertook a series of actions to promote a better understanding of autism and encourage inclusion.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness and advocate for children with special needs and their families.
A mobilization on the ground
It was within this framework that the foundation organized an awareness walk in collaboration with the Mirando for Africa school, which specializes in supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
This walk brought together various stakeholders around a common goal: raising public awareness, encouraging inclusion, and affirming that every child deserves their place in society.
An educational talk to help you understand
This mobilization continued with an educational discussion, providing a space for exchange and sharing. Parents of affected children spoke, offering sincere and powerful testimonies that highlighted the realities of daily life, the challenges they face, and their need for understanding and support.
These discussions helped raise awareness and foster a better understanding of autism and other disabilities.
Key message
Partnership
This action was carried out in collaboration with the Mirando for Africa school, which is committed to supporting and monitoring children with special needs.
Conclusion
Through this initiative, the Maresth Solidarity Foundation reaffirms its commitment to a more inclusive society, based on understanding, respect, and concrete action.
Because changing perspectives is a process that is built every day, the foundation will continue its work in support of the children and families involved.
